Hi all,
Last week, we worked on sparring, specifically focusing on movement. We used the tag-and-touch game to encourage movement and improve reaction time in the kids' classes.
In kickboxing, we also worked on movement by aiming for the shoulders and head to develop body movement and slipping techniques.

Good movement is one of the most important skills in sparring and martial arts.
Effective footwork helps you control distance, create angles, avoid attacks, and put yourself in a better position to score.
Learning to move well not only improves your offence and defence but also helps build confidence and awareness
If you need any new sparring equipment, such as gloves, foot guards, a head guard, a gum shield, shin guards, etc., please get in touch.
