Hi all,

Last week was grading, and we will be giving out belts to students who have passed their next belt.

Please make sure you take a photo with the frame and tag us in your photos.

Why attending gradings is important:

Gradings are an important part of your martial arts journey.

They give students a chance to demonstrate their progress, discipline, and commitment, as well as set new goals to work towards.

Attending gradings also helps build confidence, resilience, and respect for the process, while recognising the hard work that goes in both on and off the mat.

Last week at school, a teacher told us that we looked the “real deal” as we had our equipment and belts on, which made us laugh!

Our 7th year anniversary class is coming up fast. It’s on Sunday 1st March at William Gregg in Heanor, from 4:30–5:30pm. Everyone is welcome, so let’s make it the biggest class ever!

The black belt grading will be on 15th–16th May. More information will be given out soon.

Many thanks,

Jamie, Joash and Harry
